What this site is for

Find Geothermal Installers serves U.S. homeowners and property owners researching ground-source heating and cooling. The directory, learning pages, Planner, Rebate Finder, and quote request are decision-support tools. They do not replace site evaluation, engineering, contract review, tax advice, or confirmation from a program administrator.

Installer records and verification

Installer profiles are published from maintained directory records. We review the identity and public contact information represented in those records and keep source and import provenance where available. A listing is not a certification, endorsement, guarantee of availability, or guarantee of workmanship. Manufacturer relationships are shown only when supported by a current directory record; they do not by themselves establish training, authorization, or certification.

Local pages and geography

State, county, city, and ZIP pages are generated only for supported geography and current directory coverage. Location pages describe the records available for that geography and may show nearby results when clearly labeled. We do not infer local geology, permitting, utility rules, installer service commitments, or parcel suitability from a place name.

Incentives, guides, and manufacturers

Time-sensitive incentive and regulatory information is checked against official government, utility, or program-administrator sources. Educational guidance uses primary public agencies, standards bodies, and other clearly identified sources where appropriate. Manufacturer facts use official manufacturer materials. Pages with time-sensitive claims identify sources and review dates when those claims are presented. Readers should confirm current eligibility, funding, terms, and deadlines with the responsible program before acting.

Ratings

When ratings are displayed, the page identifies the source and review count represented by the maintained record. Ratings can change and may not represent every customer. We do not merge or manufacture reviews, and a rating is not a guarantee of future results.

Source hierarchy and updates

We prefer first-party and primary sources: official public agencies and program administrators for incentives and rules; manufacturer sites for manufacturer facts; and installer-controlled public information for installer identity and contact details. Maintained records include review or update information where the underlying system supports it. Automated audits help identify broken links, stale signals, duplicate output, and technical defects, but they do not automatically rewrite live content.

Corrections

If you find an incorrect directory fact, broken source, or material omission, use the site’s quote/contact channel and identify the page and the specific correction. The Research Team reviews correction requests against the best available source before changing a published record. We preserve appropriate change and source history rather than silently inventing replacement facts.

Limitations

We do not guarantee completeness, installer response, project eligibility, savings, system performance, incentive availability, or a particular outcome. Homeowners should verify credentials, insurance, references, scope, pricing, equipment, warranties, permits, incentives, and site conditions directly with the relevant professionals and authorities.
