Woodman Engineering Company

We have served Jefferson City and surrounding communities as a family-owned and operated HVAC provider since 1932. Lawrence “Woody” Woodman and Grace Woodman started Woodman Engineering Company at 203 E. Capitol Avenue, offering Carrier Weathermaker equipment alongside Roper gas ranges, Electrolux gas refrigerators, and Permutit water softeners. Their son, James, moved us to our present location in the early 1970s. Today, we remain family owned, with Carrier continuing to be our equipment of choice.

From our location at 217 Commerce Drive in Jefferson City, we provide heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions for residential and commercial customers. We sell and install Carrier systems and service all makes and models of HVAC equipment. Our work includes geothermal ground-source and dual-fuel systems, high-efficiency heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, air purifiers, air cleaners, and humidifiers. Whether a customer needs a new installation, replacement, seasonal maintenance, or repair, we bring decades of practical experience to the job.

We fabricate our own sheet metal to support a proper fit, consistent quality, and an efficient installation schedule. Our licensed technicians use fully equipped service trucks and diagnostic equipment to evaluate HVAC problems and complete needed repairs. We also offer comprehensive service agreements and provide emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Having worked through decades of Missouri weather, we understand the demands local conditions place on heating and cooling equipment. We serve customers in Jefferson City, Holts Summit, New Bloomfield, and surrounding communities with attentive workmanship and a continuing commitment to dependable comfort.
