Wendell Lee Well Services

We provide water well installation, pump repair, plumbing repair, and water treatment services throughout Upstate South Carolina and into the Foothills of North Carolina. Our drilling work includes wells for new home construction, irrigation, geothermal systems, industrial and environmental applications, farms, recreation, and recovery purposes.

We repair and service many types of water-pumping systems, from small, single-phase 1/2-horsepower submersible pumps to three-phase 20-horsepower pumps capable of delivering 100 gallons per minute. We diagnose and address problems involving pumps, tanks, leaking water lines, and electrical components. Our trucks and shop are stocked with parts and tools for service and repair work, and we have equipment that can pull pumps from some locations that are difficult for a large service truck to access. Because that equipment has well-size limitations, we ask customers to describe the well and access conditions as fully as possible when requesting service.

Our other services include installing new water-treatment systems and servicing existing equipment. We trench and bury water lines and electrical wiring for submersible pumps, as well as water lines running from a municipal water tap to a home. We also repair, remove, and install water heaters. For access to water without relying on conventional electrical power, we install hand pumps that can be placed above a submersible pump on the well casing. We can also install solar-powered submersible pumps by replacing a traditional electric pump motor with one powered by solar panels. The number of panels required depends on the pump’s size. To discuss a well, pump, plumbing, water-treatment, hand-pump, or solar-pump need, contact us at 864-576-6655.
