Welton's Heating & Cooling Inc

We have been helping customers in Hastings, Michigan, with their heating and cooling needs since 1963. Our story began when Richard Welton purchased Kaechele Heating & Cooling from his partner, Karl Kaechele, and renamed it Welton’s Heating & Cooling. Richard soon secured dealer accreditation from Lennox Industries and established the foundation for our long-standing work in the local community.

Three generations later, we remain family-led. Richard’s son, Doug Welton, oversees our day-to-day operations alongside Doug’s sons, Chad and David. Although heating and cooling technology has changed over the decades, our commitment has remained the same: provide dependable equipment and excellent, people-centered service at a fair price. We focus on clear, understandable answers so customers can make informed decisions about their comfort and energy-efficiency options.

As a full-service HVAC supplier, we recommend, install, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems for existing properties and new construction projects. Our services include air conditioning, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, radiant-floor systems, geothermal heating and cooling, and general electrical work. We also maintain an on-site inventory and have a licensed, certified, and insured staff. Whether you need a repair, routine maintenance, a replacement system, or help evaluating an upgrade, we can explain the available options and recommend a system suited to your application.

Our experience spans more than 50 years in the same community, and we bring that perspective to every question, problem, and project. From traditional HVAC equipment to energy-efficient radiant and WaterFurnace geothermal systems, we are ready to help you understand your choices.
