Weidner Refrigeration

We’re a family-owned and operated team based at 14450 Frazee Road in Divernon, Illinois. We serve people throughout the greater Springfield area with heating, air conditioning, geothermal heating and cooling, air purification, commercial refrigeration, and related services. Our roots go back to 1974, when our owner, Dave Weidner, opened a part-time refrigeration operation while working as a fireman and attending trade school to study refrigeration. By 1978, that work had grown into a full-time job. We’ve continued to grow since then, adding employees and helping more people across the area.

Family remains central to who we are. Dave’s wife, Linda, and their sons, Norman and Michael, have all contributed to our work. We understand how important dependable heating and cooling can be during the Midwest’s demanding seasons, and we bring decades of practical experience to each project. Our technicians are NATE-certified and continue their education as tools, techniques, and HVAC technologies change.

We work with residential and commercial customers on a wide range of comfort and refrigeration needs. Our heating services include furnace and boiler repair, installation, and seasonal maintenance, as well as ductless split systems. We also install, repair, and maintain geothermal systems, with options suited to a range of yard conditions. For HVAC repairs or replacements, we offer free estimates and recommendations from trained professionals. We also provide 24-hour emergency service when customers have no heating, air conditioning, or commercial refrigeration. Whether the need involves routine maintenance, a major repair, air purification, a smart thermostat, or a new system, we focus on helping each customer understand the available options and choose an appropriate path forward.
