Weeks & Sons Well Drilling

For more than 60 years, we have helped provide dependable water supplies to homes, businesses, farms, and cottages in Kennebec County and surrounding Central Maine communities. Based at 29 County Road in Oakland, we bring long-standing experience and careful workmanship to water well drilling, well inspections, pump installation and service, hydrofracturing, and complete exterior water system installation.

We use air hammer drilling, a proven, cost-effective method for developing water supplies for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. Once a well is drilled, we can install a complete submersible pump system from the well to the house. We sell, install, and service stainless steel and thermoplastic submersible pumps, and we chlorinate the well water after drilling and pump installation. Further chlorination may be needed to help ensure interior piping is sanitary.

Our inspection services provide a practical look at the condition and performance of a water system. Depending on the inspection, this may include water-flow-rate testing, water-system equipment inspection, water-quality testing, and bacteria and potability testing. Because hard water is common in Maine, we can also test for water problems and provide appropriate filtration equipment. We also provide hydrofracturing as part of our well services.

Our professionally trained well drillers and pump installers hold current State of Maine Master Well Driller and Master Pump Installer licenses, as well as IGSHPA certification for geothermal drilling. We are active members of the Maine Ground Water Association and the National Ground Water Association. Whether we are drilling a new well, servicing a pump, inspecting a system, or discussing filtration needs, our goal is to bring reliable service and high-quality workmanship to every project.
