Weather Makers, Inc.

We’ve been helping homeowners and businesses stay comfortable since 1971. Based in Chesapeake, we serve Southside Hampton Roads, Coastal Virginia, and Northeastern North Carolina with heating, cooling, geothermal, and indoor air quality services. We understand the demands that humid summers and chilly winters place on local HVAC systems, and we take pride in providing prompt scheduling, clear communication, and quality workmanship.

Our professionally trained, NATE-certified technicians handle air conditioning repairs and installations, heat pump service, furnace replacement, routine maintenance, and indoor air quality upgrades. We listen to your concerns, thoroughly evaluate your property, and explain the available repair or system-upgrade options based on your needs and budget. Our friendly office staff is ready to take your calls, and we also provide after-hours emergency troubleshooting and 24/7 emergency support when your comfort cannot wait.

We install, repair, maintain, and replace geothermal heat pump systems in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, surrounding communities, and Northeastern North Carolina. When designing a geothermal system, we consider yard space, soil conditions, existing ductwork, and your comfort goals so the equipment and loop configuration are properly sized. For existing systems, we provide troubleshooting, performance checks, airflow evaluations, preventive maintenance, and clear guidance about repairing or replacing aging equipment. When replacement is appropriate, we evaluate the current setup, determine what may be reused—including an existing ground loop—and present options suited to the home and the owner’s long-term goals.

Our values shape how we work with customers and with one another. We aim to build lasting relationships by making each family’s comfort a priority, welcoming feedback, and delivering a dependable service experience from the first call through the completed work.
