Walker Heating and Cooling

Since 1999, we’ve provided residential and commercial heating and cooling services in Tyler and throughout East Texas. We treat our customers’ home comfort needs the way we would want our own handled: with care, clear communication, and timely attention. We aim to offer same-day service whenever possible, and we provide 24-hour emergency service. We answer our own phones around the clock rather than relying on an answering service. If phone coverage is temporarily unavailable, we return calls promptly.

Our work includes the design, installation, repair, and maintenance of furnaces, air conditioners, commercial HVAC systems, and geothermal heat pumps. We also service refrigeration equipment and provide air duct cleaning. High-efficiency heating and cooling systems, including geothermal systems, are a particular focus for us. For geothermal installations, we assess the property to determine an appropriate piping configuration. Smaller lots may require deeper excavation for a vertical loop, while larger properties may accommodate a shallower horizontal loop. We also perform preventative geothermal maintenance, inspecting electrical connections, internal components, and refrigerant levels.

Every technician on our team is experienced, NATE Certified, drug-screened, uniformed, and sent in a clearly marked vehicle. Our technicians receive factory and in-house training, and our team trains regularly to keep up with current HVAC technology and techniques. We diagnose and repair systems even when we did not install them, working on all brands and models, including indoor commercial units and rooftop units. For commercial customers, we work to diagnose and repair problems quickly so disruption to operations is kept as limited as possible.

We provide comprehensive, upfront proposals that explain the cost and warranties associated with the work. Whether we’re repairing an air conditioner, replacing commercial equipment, maintaining a geothermal system, or designing a high-efficiency installation, we focus on quality materials, skilled service, and customer satisfaction.
