W.F. Smith, Inc.

Since 1946, we have provided homeowners with heating, cooling, and indoor air quality services while serving both residential and commercial clients with comprehensive HVAC services. We are locally owned and operated by the Smith family, and we serve Philadelphia, Bucks County, and Montgomery County, including communities such as Newtown and Horsham. Our work is grounded in quality craftsmanship, fair pricing, and attentive customer service. We are also a licensed Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor (PA003700).

We install, replace, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment. Our services cover air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems, and geothermal heat pumps, although we do not service steam or oil systems. We also provide multi-point inspections designed to identify wear and tear, address developing problems, and help equipment operate efficiently. When a new system is needed, we offer equipment from brands including Lennox and Mitsubishi Electric. Our experience also extends from improving older systems to designing or value-engineering systems for new homes.

We know that inviting an HVAC professional into your home requires trust. Our industry- and factory-trained team works to provide clear, professional service throughout each visit. For air conditioning repairs, we schedule an appointment, diagnose the problem, explain possible solutions, complete the work after receiving approval, and offer practical guidance for preventing further issues. Our contractors are not paid on commission, so their recommendations are not driven by an opportunity to upsell. We also take care to leave the work area as we found it. Whether you need a one-time system replacement, a repair, or ongoing maintenance, we bring decades of experience to each heating and cooling project.
