Tin Man Heating & Cooling

Since 1988, we have served homeowners in Bowling Green, Findlay, and communities across Northwest Ohio with heating, cooling, plumbing, and geothermal solutions. We began as a small, customer-first operation and have grown throughout Wood County without losing sight of our original values. We believe in doing the job right, explaining the details and costs upfront, and taking responsibility if we make a mistake. From our technicians to our office staff, we work to communicate clearly, respect your home, and follow through dependably.

We design, engineer, and install complete comfort and plumbing systems for homes and other buildings. Our technicians receive continuous training to stay current with HVAC technology and best practices, while our licensed plumbers handle water heater service, leak repairs, and fixture installation. Every project receives the same focus on careful workmanship and year-round comfort.

For geothermal projects, we offer a start-to-finish approach for new construction and existing homes. We evaluate the property’s lot size, soil conditions, water table, existing ductwork or radiant piping, and energy goals before outlining suitable options. Local conditions—including clay-heavy soil, freeze-thaw cycles, varying water tables, and mixed lot sizes—help determine whether horizontal loops or vertical drilling are appropriate. After installation, we verify airflow, controls, and system performance, then explain system operation, basic upkeep, recommended settings, and the maintenance plan. We can also evaluate aging geothermal heat pumps, recurring alarms, or difficulty maintaining set temperatures to help determine whether repair or replacement makes the most sense.

Our work is backed by a one-year satisfaction guarantee on new installations. If you are not completely satisfied with the equipment’s performance, our service, or the people who worked in your home during that first year, we will remove the system and refund the full contract amount.
