Thornton Heating & Air Inc.

We’ve provided commercial and residential heating, air conditioning, and sheet metal fabrication services in Western Kentucky since 1937. From our home in Murray, we serve customers in Murray, Mayfield, Benton, and surrounding Kentucky communities. Whether you need HVAC installation, repair, routine maintenance, or custom metal fabrication, we focus on understanding your needs and keeping you informed throughout the process.

Our service technicians are rigorously trained, knowledgeable, and attentive to customer concerns. We work to identify small issues before they develop into larger problems, explain the available options clearly, and answer questions directly. By including you at every step, we help you understand the work being performed and what you are paying for. For urgent air conditioning repairs, we offer 24-hour emergency service, with a live representative available to receive your call.

We also provide complete commercial HVAC services. Our technicians have experience installing a wide range of commercial heating and cooling equipment, including split systems and rooftop package units. Every new installation is engineered to conform to ACCA Manual J and Manual D standards. During installation, we examine the air distribution system for potential problems and address ductwork defects through our sheet metal fabrication shop. We seal loose connections and performance-test the equipment before signing off on the project. Our commercial maintenance agreements include periodic visits during off-hours to clean, test, inspect, and calibrate HVAC equipment. These services are designed to uncover hidden problems before they contribute to a breakdown during severe weather and to help equipment operate reliably and efficiently.
