Thompson Plbg & Htg, Inc.

We’re Thompson Plumbing, Heating & A/C Inc., a family-owned and operated team with roots in Petersburg dating back to 1964, when Dale Thompson Sr. purchased the operation from Dave Roach. We originally worked from the building that is now My Papa’s Restaurant before moving to our present Petersburg location. Today, four generations of the Thompson family are involved in our work. Our employees are factory trained and highly qualified, and they belong to Local 671 Plumbers & Pipefitters and Local 33 Sheet Metal Workers.

We serve Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio with plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning services for all makes and models. Our plumbers handle needs ranging from leaky faucets and clogged drains to complex pipe repairs and replacements. We use advanced diagnostic tools, including high-resolution cameras for pipe inspections and hydro-jetting equipment for drain cleaning, so we can locate problems accurately and provide targeted solutions. We also offer heating and cooling installation, repair, and maintenance, backed by emergency service around the clock.

Geothermal heating and cooling is another important part of what we do. Our certified geothermal specialists design, install, and maintain systems for homes and businesses, tailoring each project to the property. During the site assessment, we consider land size, soil composition, and building characteristics to develop an appropriate system design. We explain the benefits, costs, and anticipated timeline, work to minimize disruption during installation, and keep the worksite clean and organized. After installation, we offer ongoing maintenance to support dependable operation and system performance. From our home in Petersburg, we provide customized geothermal solutions in Petersburg, Dundee, Ida, Britton, Ottawa Lake, Lambertville, Maybee, Milan, Temperance, Tecumseh, Monroe, and Erie, Michigan.
