Thompson Heating & Cooling

For more than 22 years, we’ve helped homeowners and businesses in La Grange, Louisville, and surrounding areas stay comfortable through every season. Our locally owned team brings more than 30 years of HVAC industry experience to residential and commercial heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and geothermal work. Our fully licensed and certified technicians handle new air conditioner installations, heating system repairs, routine HVAC maintenance, and a broad range of comfort needs with attentive, knowledgeable service.

We are a Ruud Pro Partner and Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer, offering HVAC systems designed for efficiency and long-term reliability. We also provide financing options and our Comfort Club maintenance plan to help make ongoing comfort needs easier to manage. When urgent problems arise, we offer 24/7 emergency service and work to provide same-day repairs when possible, with honest, upfront pricing.

Geothermal service is an important part of what we do. Our certified geothermal technicians repair and maintain ClimateMaster systems and other major geothermal brands. For geothermal installation and replacement, we are certified installers of ClimateMaster systems. We diagnose issues ranging from minor faults to complex system failures, and our tune-ups include full inspections, efficiency testing, refrigerant pressure checks, coil cleaning, and other maintenance tasks. We service horizontal, vertical, and pond-loop configurations.

For a geothermal replacement or a system in new construction, we design solutions around the property and manage the process from system sizing and loop design through installation and commissioning. Whether we’re responding to a repair, maintaining existing equipment, or planning a new comfort system, we bring precision, transparency, and care to the work.
