The Element Masters, Inc.

At The Element Masters, Inc., we believe quality HVAC service begins with honesty, integrity, and genuine care for the people we serve. Lee and Dorothy Bontrager founded our family-centered heating and cooling operation in 2000 after recognizing a need for high-quality, affordable, and low-maintenance comfort systems. More than 22 years later, those values continue to guide the way we work with homeowners and commercial customers.

Based in Middlebury, Indiana, we provide engineering, installation, maintenance, and repair services for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. Our goal is to help each customer understand the available options and select equipment suited to the needs of the space. Room-by-room heat-loss and heat-gain insight allows us to consider proper system sizing rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our heating and cooling options include furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, WaterFurnace geothermal units, and Mitsubishi mini-split ductless systems. In situations where geothermal may be a suitable solution, we can help customers explore that option. We have trusted Trane since our beginning and can assist with choosing and installing an air-conditioning unit that is appropriately sized for the home. We also supply all models of Mitsubishi mini-split ductless units.

As a small operation, we treat our customers the way we treat our team members—like family. That means personal support, open communication, reasonable prices, quality products, and a commitment to integrity throughout our work. We also provide 24/7 emergency services when heating or cooling problems require urgent attention. Although HVAC technology has changed since we opened our doors, our purpose remains the same: to provide efficient, high-quality comfort solutions while maintaining an environment built on honesty, integrity, and care.
