Superior Service

We are a third-generation, family-owned plumbing and HVAC team with roots stretching back to 1972, when Jack Mackey founded Superior Heating & Cooling in Normandy, Missouri. His goal was straightforward: bring together skilled HVAC technicians who would put quality workmanship and customer service ahead of short-term profits. That commitment has guided our family for more than 50 years.

After moving to a larger location in Bridgeton in 2008, we continued to grow and later opened our Lake St. Louis location. Today, we serve homeowners across much of St. Louis and St. Charles Counties, as well as parts of Warren and Lincoln Counties. Our specialized fleet helps our NATE-certified technicians provide residential heating and cooling repairs and installations. We work on furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, air conditioners, and other HVAC systems, and our technicians are trained to service all brands and models. We are factory trained to install Bryant heating and cooling equipment, serve as a factory-authorized Bryant dealer, and are authorized contractors and distributors for Spire and Ameren.

In 2022, we celebrated 50 years in business and launched our plumbing division that fall. Our plumbers handle repair and installation needs ranging from clogged kitchen and bathroom drains to a broader variety of residential plumbing services. Adding plumbing allowed us to support more of our customers’ home-service needs while continuing the standards on which we were founded.

The Mackey family remains closely involved in our work. Jack’s son, Alan, serves as our president and brings more than 40 years of experience in the St. Louis HVAC industry. Alan’s son, Andrew, carries that tradition forward as the third generation of the Mackey family in our business. From our Lake St. Louis location at 101 Stag Industrial Boulevard, we remain locally operated and focused on providing dependable products, trusted service, and quality work for the homeowners we serve.
