Sunset Air

We’ve been helping homeowners and businesses create more comfortable, efficient spaces since Peter and Kathy Fluetsch started Sunset Air in their Tumwater garage in 1976. Today, we remain a third-generation, family-owned union team serving Lacey, Olympia, and communities across the South Puget Sound. From our Lacey headquarters at 5210 Lacey Boulevard SE, we provide heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, solar, water-heater, energy-audit, and design-build engineering services for residential and commercial needs.

Our work includes installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance for a range of comfort systems. We can help with heat pumps, wiring and rewiring, plumbing systems, solar solutions, and geothermal heating and cooling. For homeowners in Olympia and surrounding communities, our geothermal services include evaluating whether a system may be suitable for a property, installing ground-loop systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and performing regular inspections, cleaning, and adjustments.

Our roots in the South Puget Sound shape how we approach every project. We ask whether a decision is good for our customers, our employees, and the greater community before moving forward. Integrity also guides the way we care for our team and build lasting relationships with the people we serve. Our technicians are highly trained, and they are not paid on commission, so their attention stays on the customer’s needs rather than selling unnecessary repairs or products.

Sustainability is part of our history and our day-to-day work, from our eco-friendly, gold-rated headquarters to the energy-saving options we offer. Whether you need help making your home more comfortable, addressing an electrical issue, exploring solar, or caring for a geothermal system, our team is ready to listen and help.
