Sunbelt Drilling

We are Sunbelt Drilling, an Arizona drilling contractor based at 1341 E Old West Highway in Apache Junction. Our work includes geothermal borehole drilling, water well drilling, complete water systems, and drilling equipment support for projects throughout Arizona. Sunbelt Drilling, LLC was formed in 2001 and is owned and operated by Rod and Sophia Beeman. Our experience is rooted in decades of drilling work in Arizona and Utah and a family history in the drilling business.

For geothermal projects, we drill and install the boreholes and ground-loop infrastructure used by ground-source heat pump systems. Our experience includes residential properties, commercial buildings, schools, and hospitals. We are certified by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association as a driller and installer, and we bring that specialized training to geothermal heating and cooling projects across the state. Our team can support new construction as well as projects involving existing homes and buildings.

We use several drilling methods to match site and project requirements, including air rotary, mud rotary, reverse rotary, and casing hammer drilling. Our drillers and helpers continue their education as equipment and drilling practices evolve, and we maintain modern equipment for work ranging from residential jobs to large commercial bonded projects. We also assist with water-well permitting and complete water-system planning.

Our company is a licensed, bonded, and insured well drilling contractor. Our Arizona credentials include Registrar of Contractors licenses 170585, Class A-4, and 170584, Class R-53, along with Arizona Drillers License 701. Whether we are preparing geothermal boreholes or completing a water well, our goal is to approach the work with practical experience, clear service, and attention to quality from the beginning of the project through completion.
