Steers Heating & Cooling CO

Since 1938, we have served Parkersburg and the surrounding area with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Our work is built on honest, hardworking, and reliable service, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We also provide 24-hour emergency HVAC support and duct cleaning for homes and commercial and industrial facilities.

For homeowners, we install, update, maintain, and repair air conditioners, furnaces, and water heaters. We also provide geothermal heating and cooling and radiant floor heating. Our technicians continue their factory training to stay current with developments in HVAC technology, and our team is licensed, insured, and certified. We approach each installation carefully and work to ensure equipment is installed precisely.

We support restaurants, retail stores, medical offices, hospitals, schools, and fitness centers with services that include air conditioning repair, rooftop units, boilers, refrigeration, and infrared heating. For commercial heating projects, we evaluate the building’s square footage, envelope, ventilation needs, occupant density, and available utilities before presenting options such as furnaces, heat pumps, packaged rooftop units, boilers, and hybrid systems. We align equipment capacity, efficiency, and controls with each customer’s budget and plans. During installation and commissioning, we follow specifications and code, verify safety controls and airflow, document start-up readings, and show staff how to handle daily checks and smart controls.

For industrial facilities, we install, repair, and maintain chillers, ventilation and exhaust systems, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps. Our maintenance work can include system inspections, filter replacement, component cleaning, and checks of burners, pilot assemblies, motors, and safety controls. Whether we are working in a home, commercial property, or industrial building, our goal is dependable heating and cooling service tailored to the needs of the space.
