Smiley's Heating, Cooling, & Electrical

Since 1986, we’ve provided trusted heating, cooling, and electrical services with honesty, hard work, and a commitment to treating every customer like family. As a family-owned and operated team, we know how important comfort and safety are in a home or workplace. We bring decades of hands-on experience, dependable service, quality craftsmanship, and personal care to residential and commercial projects throughout Hampton Roads, including Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.

Our skilled, certified professionals live in the same communities we serve. Whether we’re handling a quick repair, routine maintenance, an emergency HVAC issue, or a complete system installation, we approach every job with dedication and respect. We provide heating repair and installation for furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps, and although we’re a Trane Comfort Specialist, we service all makes and models of heating equipment. Our goal is to identify problems efficiently, restore comfort without shortcuts, and provide solutions suited to each customer’s needs and budget.

We also specialize in ductless mini-split systems for older homes, additions, garages, and other spaces without traditional ductwork. Our licensed technicians help customers choose systems based on their layout, comfort needs, and budget, then size, place, and configure each unit for efficient performance. To help HVAC and ductless systems continue running well, we offer seasonal tuneups and a preventive maintenance agreement with deep cleanings, repair discounts, and monthly payment options. From maintenance and repairs to major installations, our mission is to keep our neighbors safe and comfortable while earning their trust one job and one relationship at a time.
