Service Legends

At Service Legends, we help Central Iowa homeowners stay safe and comfortable indoors with heating, cooling, plumbing, duct cleaning, insulation, indoor air quality, and home performance services. From our location at 6365 NE 14th St in Des Moines, we bring a high standard of workmanship and kind, prompt service to every visit. Our work spans installation, repair, and maintenance, giving homeowners one place to turn for many of the systems that support everyday comfort.

Our licensed plumbing technicians handle kitchen and bathroom repairs and replacements, sewer and water line work, sump pumps, water heaters, pipes, toilets, faucets, showerheads, drips, and new installations. For repiping projects, we begin with an in-home inspection, review the available options, and provide a fixed-price quote. If the quote is accepted, we schedule the work, pull required permits, and coordinate the necessary inspections and permit sign-offs. We take pride in ensuring 100% satisfaction on the plumbing services we provide in the Des Moines area.

We also provide air conditioner installation and replacement, repair, and maintenance. Before replacing an AC system, we complete a heat-load calculation, take measurements, and review options that may include the condenser, ductwork, condensate drain lines, zoning, UV light disinfection, or air purification, depending on the home. We discuss budget, price, energy efficiency, available rebate and tax-credit options, and financing options to help identify an appropriate system. Our indoor air quality services include air filtration, air purification, duct cleaning, and whole-home humidification. Homeowners who join our Service Legends Unlimited Club are eligible for unlimited preventive maintenance visits covering heating, cooling, plumbing, indoor air quality, and home performance, along with complimentary diagnostics, priority service, and discounts on repairs and new products.
