We have been helping residents of West Central Illinois stay comfortable for more than 35 years. John and Patti Scranton purchased Scranton Heating and Cooling in 1985 and built our work around a customer-first attitude. In 2020, ownership passed to the second generation, Jeff and Nicki Ussery and Casey Scranton. As our team and family have grown, we have remained committed to earning the trust of every customer we serve.

Our team brings more than 80 years of combined HVAC installation experience to residential heating and cooling needs. We install high-quality Trane, Mitsubishi, and GeoComfort products, and we have been a Trane dealer since 1990. Our EPA-certified technicians service all makes and models, use high-quality repair parts, and continue their education so we can address a wide range of home comfort concerns. We also offer geothermal and solar expertise for homeowners interested in exploring those options.

Our customers come from communities across West Central Illinois, including Mt. Sterling, Griggsville, Perry, Quincy, Jacksonville, Meredosia, Beardstown, Rushville, Macomb, and Camp Point. Our maintenance department provides annual maintenance for home heating and cooling systems through our Continued Comfort Program. Membership includes preferred-customer status, a 10% discount on repairs, and no overtime charges.
