Schumer Bros Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, LLC

Our story began in 1948, when brothers Norbert and Leon Schumer established Schumer Bros. Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. We incorporated in 1958, with Norbert serving as president and Leon as vice president. What started in the basement of a garage grew over the years, with several members of the Schumer family contributing to our work. Norbert’s oldest son, Gary, became president when Norbert retired in 1985, and Leon retired in 1990. In 2017, Brad and Kristen Renner (Schumer) purchased Schumer Bros. to continue that family legacy as third-generation owners of Perryville’s oldest heating, cooling, and plumbing operation.

Today, our dedicated and conscientious crew handles residential heating, air-conditioning, and plumbing repairs and installations. Our experienced service and installation technicians work with air conditioners, furnaces, geothermal heat pumps, gas log inserts, and other heating and cooling systems. We also provide duct cleaning and offer fireplaces, gas grills, and a variety of related products and services for residential and commercial needs. Although we service all brands of heating and cooling equipment, we specialize in high-efficiency Trane and WaterFurnace equipment.

We strive to provide high-quality sales, installation, and service by using dependable products suited to each customer’s needs. Ongoing training helps our crew maintain the standards we expect in plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and gas-appliance work. We stand behind everything we sell with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, guided by the belief that quality doesn’t cost—it pays.
