Schaal Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

We bring 70 years of experience to helping homeowners stay comfortable through every season. From our main office at 5670 NW Beaver Drive in Johnston, we serve communities throughout the Des Moines area, including Ankeny, West Des Moines, Clive, Indianola and beyond. When heating, cooling or hot water problems cannot wait, our emergency services provide access to the help you need.

Our work includes heating and cooling system replacement, annual HVAC maintenance, water heater repair and replacement, indoor air quality enhancements, and electrical services. Whether you are dealing with an urgent problem or planning ahead for routine care, we’re ready to discuss your needs and help you maintain a comfortable home. Before your appointment, you can receive a photo and biography of your technician. You can also track your technician as they travel to your home, so you know who to expect and when they are on the way.

We also offer maintenance plans designed to reduce the lifetime cost of ownership and help extend the life of your equipment. Plan benefits include two HVAC maintenance visits each year, one annual whole-home plumbing inspection and one annual whole-home electrical inspection. Plan benefits also include waived overtime rates, savings on diagnostic fees and up to 10% off repair services. To schedule service or learn more, call us at (515) 207-2272.
