Sarka Electric, Plumbing, & Heating

We began in the heart of Kalida, Ohio, as Norbert Sarka’s single-van electrical service operation. When his son Bob took the reins in 1980, he set out to grow beyond those roots while holding firmly to the values that shaped us: honest work, fair prices, and genuine care for every customer. Today, we remain family-owned and operated. Bob leads our team, Karen manages our books, and Andy, Rob, and Abby have joined us to carry our family legacy into the next generation.

From one person and one van, we have grown to more than 25 skilled professionals and 12 service vehicles serving Northwest Ohio. We deliberately train our technicians in multiple trades, giving our customers one team to call for electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and generator needs. Our vehicles are on the road daily, and we offer 24-hour emergency availability when urgent help is needed.

Our licensed electricians serve residential, commercial, and agricultural customers, handling everything from panel upgrades to complete farm installations. Our plumbing services include leak repairs, repiping, water treatment, tankless water heaters, new-construction plumbing, and free water testing. We have installed WaterFurnace geothermal systems since completing our first installation in 1984, and we have worked with York HVAC equipment since 1986. We also provide conventional forced-air systems and Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits, including solutions for homes without existing ductwork.

As an authorized Generac dealer since 2003, we have completed more than 500 residential installations and handled major commercial generator projects in the region. Our experience includes two 2,000kW Cummins diesel units for Cooper Farms. Whether the need involves a home, commercial property, or agricultural operation, we make the process simpler with one call, one visit, and one team. Call us at 419-532-3492.
