Ralph Mann & Sons Inc

We are a family-run Connecticut home-comfort company based at 505 Main Street in Ansonia. Our business began in 1916, and generations of the Mann family have continued serving homeowners from the same community. Today, we bring heating, cooling, plumbing, generator, geothermal, and heating-oil services together under one team.

Our geothermal work includes ground-loop design, drilling coordination, and heat-pump installation. We began our geothermal heating and cooling division in 1986, giving our team decades of experience with ground-source systems. Because these projects involve connected parts and trades, we coordinate work from the ground loop through the indoor heat-pump equipment.

We also provide heating and air-conditioning installation and repair, plumbing, generator installation, heating-oil delivery, indoor-air-quality solutions, natural-gas conversions, and water-heater services. Our team works across the disciplines we offer, and we hold seven active Connecticut licenses. This range of in-house capabilities helps us coordinate projects that involve more than one part of a home's comfort system.

Our service area includes communities across New Haven, Fairfield, and Litchfield counties, with our crews operating from our Ansonia shop. We approach each project by considering the home, the equipment, and the work needed to connect the system's components. Whether a homeowner is planning a new geothermal installation, needs help with heating or cooling equipment, or is coordinating plumbing and home-comfort improvements, our aim is to provide practical system planning, installation, and ongoing service through the same local business. We combine the experience of a company established more than a century ago with the technologies used in today's home-comfort systems.
