Pv Heating & Air

We are PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a family-owned home comfort provider founded by brothers David, Jason, and Joe Peavey in Atlanta in 2008. We built our approach around a simple principle: do the work right, treat people honestly, and never cut corners. That means recommending what is genuinely best for your home rather than pressuring you into unnecessary equipment or services. If a system can be safely and reliably repaired, we will recommend repairing it and clearly explain when replacement may be the better option.

Our work ranges from heating and cooling tune-ups, diagnostics, and system replacements to drain clearing, sewer-line repairs, leak repairs, and complete repiping. We also address filtration, humidity, ventilation, airflow, ductwork, and persistent comfort problems such as hot or cold rooms, and we assess insulation as part of HVAC system design. Our HVAC work also includes geothermal systems. We design and install all-electric heat-pump systems tailored to each home and help homeowners understand available financing, rebates, and tax credits. For new HVAC systems, we use Manual J load calculations and appropriate duct sizing rather than relying on rules of thumb. Our building-science approach helps us develop balanced, energy-conscious solutions.

Our NATE-certified HVAC technicians complete more than 125 hours of training each year, including hands-on factory training. We use our own trained employees rather than subcontractors, helping us maintain consistent workmanship and accountability. After a new installation, a senior team member inspects and tests the system, confirms that the work was completed correctly, and answers the homeowner’s questions.

We believe good service also means being respectful guests. We aim to arrive when promised, communicate clearly, work efficiently, wear shoe covers inside living spaces, and leave each home as tidy as we found it. From our first assessment through installation and follow-up, we focus on accurate diagnostics and durable solutions—not quick fixes. It is the data-driven philosophy we call The Science of Comfort®.
