Pharo Heating & Cooling, Inc.

Our roots in the Madison area stretch back four generations. In 1913, Clarence Pharo, Sr. worked on heating systems for commercial and industrial buildings. During the 1930s, his sons John, Bob, and C.M. followed him into the HVAC field, working with a variety of heating systems. Bill Pharo carried that family tradition forward when he founded Pharo Heating Company in Madison in 1983. Today, Bill and his son Clint, the fourth generation, continue our focus on quality, affordable home comfort.

From our home in Waunakee, we serve homeowners and residential builders throughout the Madison area and Dane County. We work in both new-home construction and the replacement market, helping customers choose comfortable, efficient systems that fit their homes. Our factory-trained Bryant technicians install and service natural gas furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, ventilation equipment, whole-home humidifiers, and other indoor air quality systems. We also offer AprilAire humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air exchangers, and air filters for households looking beyond temperature to improve indoor comfort and air quality. Whether you are replacing an existing furnace or air conditioner, updating an inefficient system, or building a new home, we can begin with a free estimate for a new HVAC system.

Our team includes 15 full-time technicians, and we provide apprenticeship and internship opportunities for local high school and college students. A service technician is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for furnace, boiler, and air-conditioning service, whether the need is an emergency or not. We want every customer to be fully satisfied, and we back our products and services with a full guarantee. We were also proud to participate in ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2008, when the southern Wisconsin community came together to help the Anders family in Richland Center.
