Peters Heating & Air Conditioning

At Peters Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., we provide heating and cooling services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Our Columbia, Missouri, location is one of seven serving communities across Missouri and Illinois, with additional locations in Hannibal, Kirksville, Troy/St. Louis, Quincy, Hamilton, and Pittsfield. With the second generation now at the helm, we continue to build on the commitment established by our founders, Ralph and Charlie: providing strong design, craftsmanship, and customer service.

Our heating and air conditioning services include installation and replacement, emergency service, equipment retrofits, extended service agreements, and extended warranties on new equipment. We also work with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems and offer indoor air quality services, duct cleaning, geothermal systems, fireplaces and gas logs, seamless gutters, architectural metal roofing, and outside sheet metal work. This range allows us to serve customers with needs extending beyond conventional heating and air conditioning.

Each of our facilities is equipped with a full line of modern sheet metal fabrication equipment. Our trained technicians can custom-fabricate many types of metal products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Whether we are installing new equipment, replacing an existing system, cleaning ductwork, or completing a custom fabrication project, our team takes pride in the work we perform. Across all seven locations, we remain focused on the principles that have guided us from the beginning: thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and attentive service.
