We have served clients in Michigan since 1989, when we began with a single drill rig working in the environmental and geotechnical field. Based in Northern Michigan, we have grown to a fleet of more than 20 rigs and serve clients across Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas, as well as parts of Indiana and Ohio. Our range of equipment allows us to work at remote, hard-to-reach locations and at sites with straightforward road access.

Our drilling services include environmental borings and wells, geotechnical drilling, heat pump boreholes, and shallow and deep wells up to 500 feet. We install new water wells ranging from 4 to 16 inches for residential, commercial, and irrigation uses, and we repair and revitalize existing wells. Our environmental capabilities include the installation of monitoring wells, piezometers, inclinometers, recovery wells, soil vapor extraction wells, and geothermal boreholes. We also perform soil, water, and vapor sampling, slug tests, aquifer pumping tests, well development, and other environmental site-assessment work.

We use hollow-stem and solid-stem augers, air and mud rotary methods, rock coring, and Geoprobe direct-push technology. Our fleet includes tracked and ATV-mounted rigs for off-road conditions, truck-mounted equipment for accessible sites, and auger rigs with quick-disconnect derricks for work inside structures. We also use equipment designed to manage rotary-drilling cuttings while helping maintain a clean borehole and work site. For geothermal systems, our IGSHPA-certified crews install vertical and horizontal loops for closed-loop systems. We also install wells with constant-pressure systems for open-loop applications. Across our water well, environmental, geotechnical, and geothermal work, we maintain a flexible fleet equipped to address a wide variety of project needs.
