Olson Heating and Cooling

We’ve spent more than 40 years helping homeowners and businesses with heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs. From our location at 214 E. Lincoln St. in Mount Horeb, we serve most areas of Dane, Iowa, and Green counties, as well as communities throughout the Madison area. What began as a small, dedicated operation has grown steadily, and today our team brings more than 100 years of combined HVAC industry experience to the systems we service.

We provide conventional heating and cooling solutions and also specialize in hybrid systems and geothermal equipment. Whether a property needs a standard furnace or cooling system, an indoor air quality system, or an alternative such as a GeoComfort or Carrier geothermal system, we’re here to help customers understand their options. Geothermal systems use heat stored in the earth together with electricity to heat and cool a building, and they can be installed in both homes and businesses. We can also discuss geothermal heat pump costs and provide a no-cost, no-obligation appointment for an estimate.

Our services include annual contracts for heating and cooling systems, including gas and oil heating equipment, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps. With a contract, we call in the spring to arrange a cooling system check and again in the fall to schedule a heating system check. We take pride in the heating and cooling services we provide and carry full workers’ compensation coverage along with $2,000,000 in liability insurance.
