OCD HVAC

We’re OCD HVAC, a measurement-first HVAC contractor serving homeowners in Roanoke and nearby Roanoke Valley communities, including Salem, Vinton, Cave Spring, Grandin, Wasena, South Roanoke, Daleville, Bonsack, and Botetourt County. We help people who want their heating and cooling systems diagnosed, installed, and commissioned carefully. Whether the concern is weak airflow, uneven rooms, excessive noise, high utility bills, or unreliable equipment, we look for the cause before recommending a repair or replacement.

Our OCD Performance Evaluation is designed to show how a system is actually performing. Rather than relying only on equipment ratings or guesswork, we measure factors such as airflow, static pressure, temperature split, delivered capacity, delivered efficiency, ductwork, electrical performance, refrigerant performance, and installation quality. We then provide clear, practical recommendations intended to improve comfort and efficiency, reduce strain, and support longer equipment life. Sometimes a problem is simple; other times the house, ductwork, equipment, and controls need to be considered together.

We provide HVAC diagnostics, system replacements, seasonal checkups, ductless mini-split work, airflow improvements, hydronic heating diagnostics, geothermal heat-pump service, home-performance evaluations, and light commercial HVAC service. For heat-pump, air-conditioning, furnace, and inverter heat-pump replacements, we pay attention to sizing, duct compatibility, airflow, filtration, electrical protection, condensate safety, venting where applicable, and startup verification. We also design and install HVAC systems for new homes, additions, renovations, and small construction projects. Our focus throughout is accurate measurement, clear communication, and recommendations based on the system in front of us. If the symptoms are confusing, an OCD Performance Evaluation is a practical place to start. Call or text Jacob at 540-647-0817, or send us the symptoms, your neighborhood, and what you want to understand about the system.
