Northern Temp

Based in Charleston, Maine, we are a fully insured, family-owned team focused on complete whole-home comfort. We approach every job with honesty, craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing the work right. Our services include HVAC, geothermal, plumbing, water quality, indoor air quality, and seasonal home care, all with the goal of helping your home’s heating, cooling, plumbing, air, and water systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently throughout the year.

We install heating and air-conditioning systems selected for the needs of each home. Our licensed technicians work to industry standards for safety and efficiency, and our equipment options range from oil boilers and mini-splits to geothermal heat pumps. We help homeowners consider the available choices and find an option suited to their needs and budget. Our plumbing work supports new construction, remodels, and everyday repairs, including water-heater installations, domestic hot-water systems, fixture upgrades, leak repairs, and full piping or repiping projects. We bring the same transparency, attention to detail, and focus on code-compliant workmanship to this work that we bring to HVAC.

We also provide professional air-duct and dryer-vent cleaning for residential and light commercial customers using Rotobrush BrushBeast technology. This deep-cleaning service is intended to improve indoor air quality, support HVAC performance, and enhance home safety. Our seasonal home-care services can include preparing a camp for the season, while our broader work includes testing water, maintaining comfort systems, and addressing indoor air concerns. For urgent needs, we offer round-the-clock emergency assistance to customers enrolled in our Preventative Maintenance Plans and to customers whose equipment was installed by us. Whatever the service, we treat each home with the care we would give our own and keep the customer’s comfort, health, and efficiency at the center of our work.
