Northern Air Plumbing & Heating

We’re Northern Air Plumbing, Heating and Electrical, a family-owned and operated team with roots in central Minnesota dating back to 1991. Dick Fenner founded our operation, Dave Rom took ownership in 2006, and Joe Bates followed in 2017. Through those changes, we have remained focused on personalized service and lasting relationships with the people who rely on us.

We provide residential and light commercial plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and related services. Our work includes repairs, installation, replacement, and maintenance, as well as indoor air quality, ventilation, refrigeration, geothermal systems, thermostats, boilers, whole-house fans, new construction, remodeling, and cabin opening and closing. We service all makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment. Carrier is our primary brand, and we also work with equipment from Honeywell, Navien, Aprilaire, Payne, and Fantech. Our crew includes experienced NATE-certified technicians and licensed plumbers, and we are a licensed, bonded, and insured heating and cooling service provider. We are also members of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.

Our connection to the community extends beyond our day-to-day work. We support local school sports teams and events and are proud to be associated with HOPE House, Aitkin Youth Center, local homeschool co-ops, Cuyuna Range Youth Center, and Civil Air Patrol–Crow Wing. We also belong to the Brainerd, Cuyuna, and Aitkin chambers of commerce. With locations in Brainerd and Aitkin, we’re committed to treating our customers like members of our extended family while helping keep their homes and light commercial properties comfortable and functioning properly.
