North Ga Equipment Co.

Since 1945, we have provided residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC services from our home in Rome, Georgia. Our history of family leadership began in 1968, when Haskell Perry purchased North Georgia Equipment Co. and established a foundation centered on customer care, reliability, and quality workmanship. His son, David Perry, took ownership in 1999 and continued that tradition. Today, we are preparing for a fourth generation of family ownership as David’s son, Joel, gets ready to carry our legacy forward.

We bring decades of experience to heating and cooling projects of many sizes throughout North Georgia. Our work ranges from home-focused HVAC systems to equipment for businesses, educational institutions, places of worship, and large industrial facilities. Over the years, we have served organizations including International Paper, Gerdau Ameristeel, Berry College, First Baptist, and First Presbyterian. We approach every project with careful attention to performance, reliability, and the needs of the individual property.

Our capabilities include the installation, service, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and mechanical systems. We work with standard and high-efficiency HVAC units, geothermal systems, gas lines, chillers, boilers, ductwork, kitchen hood vents, and pool dehumidifiers. For residential projects, we focus on consistent comfort, efficient operation, reduced noise, and systems that fit naturally into the home. For commercial and industrial settings, we tailor solutions to demanding operating conditions and complex mechanical requirements.

Our licensed and insured technicians provide clear communication, upfront estimates, flexible scheduling, and courteous service throughout each project. We also offer regular maintenance to support efficient operation and system longevity, along with 24-hour emergency service when urgent HVAC problems arise. Whether we are helping with a home system, a commercial property, or an industrial application, our goal is to provide dependable service and careful workmanship.
