N E Bob Waltz Plumbing & Heating Inc

Our family legacy began in 1956, when Norman E. “Bob” Waltz and his wife, Betty, launched their own plumbing and heating service business. Robert F. Waltz joined the family business in 1975, helping us expand our products and services to include heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration. In 1998, we acquired Hydro-Aire Inc., a 30-year-old heating and air conditioning contractor specializing in custom sheet metal fabrication and Carrier products.

In 2005, we earned accreditation as a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer in Maryland. From 2007 through 2018, our team expanded to serve the growing Frederick and Washington, D.C. suburban area. Our family leadership continued in 2021, when Jeff Waltz followed in his father’s footsteps and was promoted to president of N.E. Bob Waltz Plumbing & Heating Inc.

We provide plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and indoor air quality services for homeowners and businesses. As an authorized Carrier dealer, we offer sales, service, and installation across Carrier’s heating, cooling, and air quality product line. We are also an authorized dealer for Goulds Water Technology, Rinnai, and RUUD plumbing products. Our investment in current training and certifications equips us to maintain, repair, and install equipment and fixtures from all brands—not only those made by the manufacturers we represent.

All of our service technicians hold a Maryland HVAC Journeyman or Master’s license, and we require our HVAC technicians to be tested and become NATE certified. We also work with general contractors on new homes and remodeling projects, coordinating our services to support quality workmanship and careful attention to detail. These partnerships make it possible for us to provide in-home engineering when a project calls for a custom approach. From our location on Hillmark Court in Frederick, we continue to provide reliable, custom home-comfort solutions with attentive and respectful service.
