Mommens Heating & Cooling

Our roots in Mexico, Missouri, reach back to the early 1970s, when Dennis Mommens moved to the area. After initially hauling propane, he found his way into heating and cooling work and recognized an opportunity to pair high-quality service with excellent customer care. That vision led to the founding of Mommens Heating & Cooling in 1997. In 2007, Dennis’s son, Chris Mommens, took over, continuing our family tradition and commitment to keeping local homes and workplaces comfortable.

Today, we provide residential and commercial heating and air conditioning services throughout Audrain County and surrounding mid-Missouri communities. Our work includes heating and air conditioning service, heat pump installation, furnace repair and maintenance, water heater service, commercial HVAC, and quality equipment installation. We keep up with high-efficiency, geothermal, and inverter-drive technologies while continuing to maintain older equipment. As an authorized dealer for Trane, Ruud, GeoComfort, Samsung, Lennox, Weil-McLain, and Rinnai, we offer customers a broad selection of heating and cooling equipment. We also provide 24-hour emergency service at (573) 581-7970.

At our heart, we are a family-owned team with deep roots in the place we serve. We take pride in being based at 1320 Paris Road in Mexico and in serving our neighbors in Auxvasse, Centralia, Fulton, Moberly, Montgomery City, Paris, Perry, Vandalia, Wellsville, and other nearby communities. Our steady growth has been built on professional technical service, quality installation, and dedication to the people around us. We strive to offer our best prices throughout the year while carrying forward the local commitment that has guided us since 1997.
