Modern Heating & Cooling

We have served residential and commercial customers since 1985 from our home in Black Earth, Wisconsin. We are now owned by two longtime employees, Scott and Jason, who have more than 65 years of combined experience. We help customers choose HVAC systems suited to their needs and budgets. We serve Dane County and surrounding communities, including areas in Iowa, Sauk, and Columbia counties.

Our work includes residential and light commercial furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air filtration systems, air exchangers, humidification and dehumidification equipment, rooftop units, and ductless split systems. We handle installations and replacements as well as custom new-home construction, remodeling projects, and system upgrades. Our hydronic services include the installation and servicing of in-floor heating systems and high-efficiency boilers. We also service most makes and models of forced-air HVAC equipment and water heat boilers.

Geothermal heating and cooling is another important part of our expertise. We provide geothermal system installation, design, and cost-savings analysis, helping customers compare equipment and loop-field options to find an appropriate fit. Many of our technicians are certified by the Wisconsin Geothermal Association as Master Geothermal Installers. Because ground temperatures remain more consistent than outdoor air temperatures, water-source heat pumps can operate more efficiently than air-source systems. Today’s geothermal systems are designed to handle Wisconsin winters.

Heating and cooling technology has changed considerably over the years, and we have worked to keep pace with those advances. We offer effective, energy-efficient HVAC products and help customers find systems that fit their needs. Whether the project involves replacing existing equipment, planning a new system, improving indoor air quality, or exploring geothermal or hydronic heating, we bring decades of hands-on HVAC experience to the work.
