Modern Comfort Systems

We are a family-owned and operated heating and air conditioning team based in Westminster, Maryland. Since 1980, we have served communities in parts of Maryland and Pennsylvania with a focus on knowledgeable guidance, attentive service, and modern comfort solutions. Our roots are part of the Tevis family of companies, whose history in Westminster began with Stanley H. Tevis in 1932. Those longstanding values of quality, affordability, and personal service continue to shape how we care for our customers today.

From our 15,000-square-foot facility at 100 Airport Drive, we bring together an advanced training facility, a modern showroom, and a dedicated customer service operation. Our Comfort Advisors work closely with homeowners to understand their needs and help them choose suitable equipment and services. We provide installation, repair, tune-up, and maintenance services for heating and cooling systems, along with service for water heaters. Our capabilities also include heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers fueled by natural gas, propane, or heating oil.

Innovation has long been part of our story. We were the first to install a heat pump in Carroll County, Maryland, and we continue to work with current products and technology while maintaining a personal approach. Whether we are installing new equipment, repairing an existing system, or performing routine maintenance, we pay close attention to the details and communicate clearly throughout the process.

As we grow, we remain connected to the communities we serve and to the principles established by the Tevis family generations ago. Our goal is straightforward: to help keep our customers comfortable through dependable HVAC and water-heating services delivered with professionalism and care.
