We are a locally owned, full-service water well provider based in Green Isle, Minnesota, and a licensed and bonded full-service provider of geothermal systems. Since 1990, we have served residential, commercial, agricultural and municipal clients throughout the Upper Midwest. Our services include water treatment, well drilling, well sealing, geothermal system installation and service, pump service, and underground leak detection. At Mineral Service Plus, we stand for quality, service, reliability and dependability, completing each job quickly, cost-effectively and with minimal intrusion to the surrounding property.

We install, maintain and repair geothermal systems for heating and cooling applications in homes and commercial, municipal and agricultural buildings. Depending on the property, a closed-loop system may be installed horizontally, vertically or in the bed of a body of water. Horizontal systems generally require more available land, commonly using a trench between 100 and 300 feet long, while vertical systems use several deep holes to access geothermal loops or plates. We evaluate the property, budget and energy needs to recommend the more suitable configuration.

Where conditions permit, we can also assess the feasibility of a pond-loop geothermal system. These systems require a nearby body of water that maintains sufficient depth for effective heat transfer, with the water level never dropping below six to eight feet. We determine suitability through an on-site inspection. We also help clients navigate the bureaucracy surrounding geothermal systems in the Midwest. If there is an undetected water leak or a leak in an existing geothermal system, we can provide underground leak detection and assistance to help prevent a small problem from becoming a larger one.
