We’re a family-owned and operated heating, cooling, and plumbing provider based in Lapeer, Michigan. Our owner, Caleb Rutledge, is a third-generation licensed Mechanical Contractor and a licensed residential builder. Our family’s history in the HVAC industry includes Rutledge Heating Service Inc. in Plymouth, Royal Oak, and Garden City; KR Mechanical in Plymouth; Multi-Environmental Systems in Westland; and Auburn Mechanical in Macomb and Lapeer. We bring this family history in the HVAC industry to our work with residential and commercial customers throughout Michigan.

We install and service indoor comfort systems, offering a wide range of energy-efficient options designed for reliable performance and maximum comfort. Because every building is different, our trained and knowledgeable staff considers the entire space when recommending heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. We take time to understand how the space is used, the expected length of occupancy, future plans for the building, environmental considerations, and other factors that may affect equipment selection. Our project managers and installation crews follow the criteria established in each project’s design specifications, and we work with architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial clients. We provide competitive estimates, and our work is backed by warranties.

Our plumbing services address practical needs throughout the home. We locate and repair leaks involving faucets, carpeting, flooring, basements, and other affected areas. We also install water softeners with digital or manual controls, as well as five-stage reverse osmosis systems for cleaner, better-tasting drinking water. To help protect basements from flooding, we install, repair, and upgrade sump pumps, including backup and alternating pump configurations. We also offer routine maintenance plans for drain lines and septic systems to help prevent problems and keep them flowing properly throughout the year.
