Michael Barlow Well Drilling Service, Inc

We are a family-owned and operated well drilling service based in Bel Air, Maryland. Since 1987, we have specialized in water wells and geothermal borehole drilling. Our experience includes 9,500 wells drilled, 6,000 pumps installed, and 800 geothermal projects. We understand the local hydrogeology as well as applicable local and state codes and regulations. We are bonded, insured, and licensed in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, serving our local community and other areas along the East Coast.

We provide full-service water well and water treatment solutions for replacement wells, new construction and vacant lots, and subdivisions. With the capability to drill to depths of up to 2,000 feet, we offer both rock drilling and mud rotary drilling. We also work on well pumps, tanks, lines, and related components, whether a customer is out of water or needs water brought from a newly drilled well to the faucet.

When water has an unusual taste or leaves stains, we can help determine which filtration system is appropriate. We install and maintain water filtration systems as part of our water treatment services. We explain available options so customers can make informed decisions based on proper construction, long-term value, and their individual needs.

We also provide IGSHPA-certified third-party inspection and code-enforcement services for residential and commercial geothermal systems. Our inspectors have attended specialized geothermal inspection workshops with IGSHPA, designed specifically for code-enforcement inspectors serving city and state governments. Across every service, we draw on comprehensive knowledge, practical experience, and proven techniques while focusing on quality workmanship, professional service, and customer satisfaction.
