Merrell & Associates

Our roots in Carrollton go back to 1952, when R. Ellis Merrell installed his first heating and cooling system here and began a tradition of service that we continue today. Merrell & Associates was formed in 1979, and we have been a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer since that year. We remain family-owned and operated, with a family born and raised in West Georgia, and we focus on helping residential and commercial clients stay comfortable through dependable heating, cooling, and mechanical services.

Our NATE-certified technicians are licensed, bonded, and insured HVAC contractors in Georgia and Alabama. Through continuous training, we stay current with evolving equipment and technology. We repair, replace, install, and maintain central heating and air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, ductless and mini-split systems, and geothermal systems. We also provide ductwork design and installation, duct cleaning, indoor air quality services, preventive maintenance, annual service agreements, ENERGY STAR home performance evaluations, and HVAC installation for new construction and renovation projects. Our own sheet metal shop allows us to create custom ductwork, and our fully stocked service trucks help us complete many repairs in a single visit. For urgent heating and cooling problems, we offer 24/7 emergency service.

We are proud to have received the Carrier Comfort Distinguished Dealer Award, the 40-Year Carrier Award from our distributor, and the 2022 and 2023 Carrier President’s Awards. We also participate in Georgia Natural Gas Company’s Gas Advantage Dealer Program and belong to the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia. Beyond our day-to-day work, we value our West Georgia community through Habitat for Humanity projects and sponsorship of local school events. In every interaction, we aim to put our clients’ needs first, answer questions clearly, respect their schedules and spaces, and support lasting indoor comfort for homes and businesses in Carrollton and surrounding areas.
