McLeod Water Wells

We’ve been drilling wells since 1963. Based in Hermon near Bangor, we’re a third-generation, family-owned and operated team serving families and businesses throughout Maine. Well after well, our work has focused on helping our customers access clean drinking water. We drill shallow, deep and supplemental wells, address abandoned wells, and provide well repairs.

We follow Maine regulations governing well drilling and can work throughout the year when weather permits. In most cases, drilling takes only a day. We also help customers choose a water system suited to their needs. Our pump services include submersible pumps, constant-pressure systems and troubleshooting for water pump problems.

In addition to water wells and pump systems, we offer geothermal heating and cooling systems. Whether we’re drilling a well, repairing an existing one, working on a pump system or helping with a geothermal system, our customers deal with a Maine family that cares about the quality of its work.
