Matthew R. Borden Heating & Cooling, Inc.

Our roots in the trades run deep. Growing up in a family of tradesmen, Matt Borden learned from generations of local business owners, including his grandfather, who owned a plumbing business, and his uncle, who ran a heating and oil business. His early interest in mechanical work led him to study HVAC at the Philadelphia Wireless Technical School, where he graduated with honors. In 1990, he established Matthew R. Borden Heating & Cooling, Inc. in Broomall, building our work around perseverance, careful craftsmanship, and personal service.

We provide heating, cooling, and water-heating services throughout Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery Counties. Our capabilities include system design and installation, replacement, routine maintenance, and repair. We work with forced-air and hydronic heating, oil-to-gas conversions, central and high-velocity air conditioning, geothermal heat pumps, ductless systems, indoor air-quality accessories, and other temperature-control solutions. We also offer SpacePak and Unico high-velocity air-conditioning products. For geothermal projects, we guide homeowners through the process, discuss their needs and long-term goals, and custom-design an appropriate system for the home.

Our approach remains personal and hands-on. We employ highly qualified technicians who listen carefully, assess each client’s individual situation, and recommend practical solutions based on those needs. Matt continues to be directly involved in every project, even with a full staff. That involvement reflects the standard that has guided us from the beginning: we aim to provide the same attentive, honest, reliable, and affordable service we would want for our own families and homes. Whether we are designing a new system, maintaining existing equipment, or addressing a complex repair, we bring personalized attention and meticulous workmanship to the job.
