We are M&L Heating & Cooling, Inc, serving homeowners and businesses in Stevensville and throughout Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. Our owners, Michael Johnson and Levi McConnell, bring more than 30 years of combined experience to residential, commercial, and geothermal HVAC work. We install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot traditional and geothermal heating and cooling systems. Our capabilities include geothermal ground loops and heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, radiant in-floor heating, and commercial refrigeration systems. For geothermal projects, we assess the property, design a system around its heating and cooling needs, select an appropriate loop configuration, coordinate permits and approvals, and complete the excavation or drilling required for installation. We then connect and integrate the equipment, test the complete system, fine-tune its settings, and explain its operation and maintenance.

Our NATE-certified HVAC specialists receive ongoing training, use advanced tools, follow applicable codes and manufacturer instructions, and work with high-quality products selected for efficiency and durability. Whether we are installing a new system, upgrading existing equipment, diagnosing a malfunction, or providing routine and preventive maintenance, we approach the work carefully and keep our customers informed. We also provide repair services for electric, gas, and propane heating systems; major air-conditioning brands, makes, and models; and commercial coolers and built-in refrigerators.
