Lochridge-Priest

We’ve partnered with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and developers across Texas for more than 50 years. We were founded in 1963 by Loyd Priest, Cooper Lochridge, and Alvin Reznicek and grew through changing partnerships. The Akins family purchased the existing partners’ shares in 2007 and continues to own and operate Lochridge-Priest today. We are locally owned and operated, with more than 400 knowledgeable employees, including tenured team members, and offices in Waco, Temple, Corsicana, and Fort Worth.

We deliver fully coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions for commercial and industrial projects. From new construction and system modernization to strategic renovations, changeouts, and upgrades, we plan, manage, and execute our work to help projects move forward. We understand the demands of tight schedules, multi-trade coordination, and budget accountability, so we work closely with our project partners to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and deliver with confidence.

Through LPC Services, we also provide preventative maintenance and responsive HVAC, electrical, and plumbing support. Our capabilities include facility maintenance, on-call service, testing and balancing, scheduled system inspections, and 24/7 air-conditioning repairs for commercial and industrial properties. When an existing HVAC system needs replacement or a new building needs a system installed, we work with our customers to select an option suited to their operational needs and budget. Across every service, we focus on quality, care, coordination, and the reliable performance of the systems that keep facilities running.
