Lane Associates

We have served clients since 1944, when Louis Calderon founded Lane Refrigeration to service and install refrigeration equipment in homes, small delicatessens, and bars. After earning his engineering degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, John Calderon joined his father and helped expand our work into heating and air conditioning in the mid-1960s. In the 1980s, we became Lane Associates, phased out refrigeration service, and dedicated our work to the design/build, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC equipment. Today, John continues to guide our growth alongside Diane Star, Stephen Liuzzo, Michael Star, and the third generation of the Lane family.

Our in-house Professional Engineer, estimators, project managers, installation technicians, and service technicians work together to address each client’s needs professionally and thoroughly. We provide commercial HVAC construction, equipment replacement, retrofits, building automation controls, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and service and repair. Customized maintenance agreements are available for individual facilities, and our emergency response is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are proud to be an MSCA Star Contractor and to maintain a knowledgeable team that stays current with changes in the HVAC industry. Our Island Park facility also includes a large warehouse, built in 2016, with solar energy and climate-controlled storage for parts and equipment.

We also install, troubleshoot, service, and repair geothermal heat pump systems. As an authorized WaterFurnace equipment partner, we can evaluate a property after a site visit and help determine an appropriate solution for the home or building. Our geothermal services can encompass permits, drilling, installation, startup, and assistance with applications for available tax credits, rebates, and other incentives. We have experience with residential geothermal systems on Long Island, in Westchester County, and surrounding areas. From our Island Park location, we serve the greater New York City metropolitan area across designated counties in New York and New Jersey, always mindful of the trust our clients place in us.
