L W Zelmore Heating & Cooling

Since Lance Zelmore founded L. W. Zelmore Heating & Cooling in 2000, we have focused on providing dependable heating and cooling services for customers throughout Westmoreland County and the Fay-West area. We have grown by developing strong relationships with both longtime and new customers and earning a reputation for fast, professional service. Our certified and insured technicians bring more than 60 years of combined experience to their work. We are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency service.

We provide furnace and boiler maintenance, air conditioner and heat pump service, customized installations, and geothermal systems. Preventive maintenance is an important part of keeping heating and cooling equipment functioning properly and operating at peak efficiency. We recommend an annual furnace or boiler checkup before the heating season, along with service for air conditioners and heat pumps to help prepare them for the summer months.

Our installation process begins with a survey of your home. We inspect the existing furnace, air conditioner or heat pump, and duct system before determining the proper size for a new system. We consider wall insulation values, windows and doors, and, most importantly, your comfort concerns. This careful process allows us to design a comfort system around your home and budget. We also work with geothermal systems, including closed-loop and open-loop configurations. These systems are known for using less energy, requiring less maintenance, and providing a more environmentally clean approach to heating and cooling.

After outgrowing our original headquarters, we relocated to Norvelt in 2004, where we offer a large parts inventory.
