Knueve & Sons

We’ve been family-owned and operated since Frank Knueve started a one-man repair shop in 1970. Working from the back of the family station wagon as Frank’s Repair, he handled bathroom remodels along with heating and plumbing service calls. As his sons Dan, Ron, Joe, Ed, Greg, and Mike joined him and developed specialties in different parts of the work, we became Frank Knueve & Sons. We incorporated in 1991 and continued under Frank’s sons after his passing in 1995. Our Findlay branch office and showroom opened in 2000, giving us a second convenient location alongside Kalida.

Today, we serve homes and businesses in Northwestern Ohio with residential and commercial heating and air conditioning, plumbing, bathroom remodeling, water treatment, air purification, and standby generator services. Our technicians are factory trained, and our HVAC staff includes Trane Comfort Specialists. We also offer maintenance plans that can include filter changes, parts inspections, and system tune-ups.

Our plumbing team handles routine service, repairs, and installations, from clearing drains and repairing leaks to installing upgraded fixtures and tankless water heaters. For sewer-line problems, we use real-time camera inspections to assess cracks, clogs, and age-related wear before recommending an appropriate approach. Depending on the condition of the line, options may include trenchless work to reduce digging or traditional methods for major damage. When frozen or burst pipes require urgent attention, we provide 24/7 emergency plumbing service. We arrive in stocked service vans, answer questions clearly, and provide upfront pricing so you know the quoted cost before work begins.
