Knisely & Sons Inc

We have served customers since 1947, when Paul A. Knisely established our operation in Queen, a small crossroads village in northern Bedford County. We moved to downtown Bedford in 1953 and relocated in 1956 to 125 East Pitt Street, which remains one of our two locations. Paul’s sons—Walter, Dale, and Clair—joined the family operation and purchased it in 1959. Over the decades, eight members of the third generation have helped us continue to grow. In the summer of 2000, we opened our second location in the historic downtown district of Hollidaysburg in Blair County.

Today, we provide design, installation, repair, and maintenance for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical systems and equipment in and around south-central Pennsylvania and western Maryland. Our services include heating and air conditioning, geothermal comfort systems, plumbing, electrical work, refrigeration, restaurant equipment, water conditioning, and emergency generators. Our electrical capabilities range from wiring, service entrance equipment, panelboards, and switchgear to lighting, communications cabling, motor controls, industrial automation, smoke and fire detection, and emergency generators. We also work with air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment such as coolers, freezers, refrigerated cabinets, compressors, chillers, ice machines, temperature controls, and commercial kitchen equipment.

As a WaterFurnace GeoPro Master Dealer, we have demonstrated performance in areas that include installation quality, technical training, experience, dedication, and business practices. We remain proud of our reputation for quality and dependability, and we continue striving to support our customers and the communities where they live. Our Hollidaysburg office is at 314-1/2 Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and can be reached at 814-693-8744. For us, the work is done right because our family name is on the truck.
